What is the Bills Depth Chart?
The Buffalo Bills are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 of the NFL season. The Rams, as usual, have a stacked depth chart and will be a tough opponent. However, the Bills' depth chart is not too shabby either. With such an inexperienced team last year, there were plenty of players fighting for playing time.
This year’s depth chart features some familiar names and faces, but also some new players who could stake their claim to a roster spot. Quarterback Josh Allen leads the way with four starters returning from last year’s team. Running backs LeSean McCoy and Andy Phillips are back, as well as wide receivers Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones. The only starter who is new to the Bills this season is cornerback Tre’Davious White. With so many talented players vying for spots on this roster, it’ll be interesting to see who makes it through preseason unscathed and into the regular season opener against the Rams.

Rams Depth Chart
- The Rams are a team loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. They have one of the deepest rosters in the league and should be a contender this season.
- The Rams have an excellent quarterback in Jared Goff, who is surrounded by talented receivers. Running back Todd Gurley is another explosive player, and the defense should be solid as well.
- On offense, the Rams rely heavily on their wide receivers to create downfield opportunities for Goff. Their offensive line is also very talented, so Goff should have plenty of time to make plays.
- As mentioned earlier, the Rams defense is also strong, led by stars like Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. They will need to play good defense if they want to make a deep run in the playoffs this season.

Bills Depth Chart Player Profiles
The Buffalo Bills released their unofficial depth chart on Wednesday, and it features a few surprises. The most notable of which is the release of starting left guard Richie Incognito.
Elsewhere, the depth chart seems pretty straightforward. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor is listed first, followed by running back LeSean McCoy, wide receiver Sammy Watkins and tight end Charles Clay.
But there are some interesting names further down the list. Rookie linebacker Preston Brown moves up to the second spot on the depth chart behind Lorenzo Alexander at inside linebacker. Second-year defensive lineman Shaq Lawson makes his NFL debut behind Kyle Williams on the defensive line.
Defensive back Corey Graham is also listed as a backup outside cornerback, suggesting he could see some time in that position if Stephon Gilmore (ankle) can’t play against Baltimore Friday night.
Bills Depth Chart Position Battles
The Bills depth chart is a work in progress, but there are some position battles worth monitoring.
Offensive Line: The Bills offensive line has been a source of concern for years and they made it clear that they want to improve this area during the draft. They selected Eric Wood in the first round and Christian Hackenberg in the second. If either player can develop into an effective starter, then the Bills would be much improved up front. However, there are questions about both players' skills and whether or not they can be depended on to stay healthy. If either player struggles, then the Bills could turn to free agent signings or the rookie draft class to fill in.
Running Back: LeSean McCoy is one of the best running backs in the league and he is coming off of an impressive season where he scored 19 touchdowns. However, his contract expires after next season and he may need to be replaced by a new starter soon. The Bills drafted Jonathan Williams in the fourth round and he could compete for carries over next season. If Williams cannot breakthrough, than McCoy could see his production decline as well.
Wide Receiver: Sammy Watkins was acquired from the Rams in exchange for two first round picks this offseason and he will likely start opposite of McCoy at running back. Watkins is a talented receiver who should be able to help take pressure off of McCoy and open up space for other players on offense. Behind Watkins, there is no surefire answer at receiver with Robert Woods (who had
